Snapshot: Apertura Photography

As a designer, I am really not supposed to say what I am about to... but seeing as my blog supports a modest number of followers (or rather those that accidentally stumble upon it) I am sure it won't do too much harm...

The MOST important part of your wedding is..... photography. As much as I would like to say that my designs and hours or labor that are put into them will be the most impactual part of your event... the photographer that you choose will be the eyes through which you, your children, your grandchildren, strangers, and the rest of the internet world will eventually see the event through... once the savory tastes of your menu have faded, the invitations have been tucked away, and the flowers have wilted... these little pieces will be all that you have... as the years go on and your memory fades and the two of you fulfill your "until death do we part" vows, these will be your piece of immortality.... your great great great granddaughter's inspiration for her vintage wedding.... alright enough...

So- this being said, alot enough funds for this vendor... and review many many portfolios. Find someone that really captures the world through the same eyes that you invision your event... pay attention to their consistency and most of all- make sure that they really match your style and personality...

This week's snapshot is Apertura Photography. I just spent literally over an hour on their website as I couldn't pull my eyes away... so often I find that creativity is prominent in the engagement portfolio but that the hustle and bustle of the wedding prove to be a bit draining when it comes to creative shots... this is NOT the case with these guys- I am loving the shots and their suggestion to have a post-wedding shoot.... I do believe that I may have found my photographer.. alas!

Hello there!

I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far on your blog. But I just *have* to say something. You don't seem to link any websites or anything in your posts. Typically in a blog entry you'll say something like this via SomeWebsite.com and LINK the website.

That way your readers can click and visit these pages instead of googling the names. Just a friendly tip! :D

anonymous- oh how I wish I knew who you were so that I may thank you in person... a little new to this end of the blog scene and sort of learning as I go... I will try to be more attentive to this and hope to see you here again...
